POLE ESSENTIALS (beginners)
For the first time Pole Dancer. In this course you’ll learn a number of basic moves and spins and start to build your upper body strength and flexibility and learn to climb the pole. By the end of this course, you will have learnt your first routine and be going upside down.
CLASS INFORMATION
Casual and comfortable, exercise type clothing - shorts, t-shirt and bare feet (high heels or jazz shoes are optional). Shorts should be above the knee as you use the skin on your legs to grip on to the pole and tops should be a T-shirt or Singlet top - strapless tops are not very practical. Please, no hand/wrist jewellery (rings, watches and bracelets) - necklaces and earrings are fine. Just bring a bottle of water and a hand towel to class.
GET VERTICAL (intermediate 1)
Is for girls who’ve completed Pole Essentials and are ready for some more challenging moves. We’ll continue to build your strength and perfect the moves already learnt, as well as teach you some more challenging moves and routines.
POLE EVOLUTION (intermediate 2)
Once you've completed Get Vertical, you can move into our Advanced courses. We'll continue to challenge your mind and body and teach you heaps of fantastic new tricks.
POLE JUNKIES 1 & 2 (advanced)
By this stage, you're addicted! Our Pole Junkies continue to learn some really tricky moves, create their own routines and more.
PLATINUM POLE (exclusive)
When you’ve been with Pol-arise for 12 months or more and have achieved a certain level of ability, you qualify for this invitation only class. Exclusive to Gold and Platinum members only.
POL-R-TEASE (strength & flexibility)
Not quite as strong or flexible as you’d like to be? Try our
Pol-r-tease class as a 2nd class to compliment your regular class. You’ll be fitter, stronger and more flexible in no time and be able to do all those pole moves that require extra strength.

Since 2005, Pol-arise has offered a range of fun and exciting ladies only classes in pole dancing and dance fitness, but we are not your regular dance or fitness centre! From the moment you walk into one of our award winning studios, you will know you have stepped into an environment full of energy and life, providing a fun and motivation-filled way to improve both your physical and mental well being.
Pole dancing is a great alternative for women of ALL ages, sizes and fitness levels, and is now recognised to be the best exercise activity to give your body a full workout. Pole Dance improves fitness levels, core strength and muscle tone by combining the fun of dance, and the skills of gymnastics and acrobatics into one sport... that’s the NEW world of Pole Dance!
Don’t worry, you DON’T need to be fit, you DON’T need to be strong, you DON’T need to be skinny and you definitely DON’T need to be a dancer! You DO need to be prepared to “have a go” and you do need to want fun in your exercise routine! At Pol-arise, body shapes and sizes are varied - and age, size and fitness ability is no barrier ! Pol-arise classes are fun and held in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where you can have a fantastic time, meet new people and laugh your way to a fitter, stronger and more toned body.
Pol-arise is the home of the current Australian Pure Pole Champion, BAILEY and all our Instructors have undergone rigorous training to ensure that you get the most out of your Pol-arise Dance Fitness classes. Our classes cater for everyone – from the raw beginner through to professional and competition levels.
Classes are subject to minimum numbers. At the discretion of management class/es may be cancelled if insufficient bookings are received into a course. In the event of cancellation, every effort will be made to find an alternative class or venue.
When re-enrolling into future courses, a 50% deposit payment is required to secure your booking, with the balance of payment due at least seven (7) days prior to the first class.
* Please consider your commitment to a course as there will be NO refunds, credits or transfer of monies to a future term.
M-POWER
This new 45 minute Cardio Pole class is designed to get you improve your stamina and fitness levels. You'll be learning a simple intermediate level choreographed pole routine each week, which will leave you happy, healthy and breathless....for more! Take it as a 2nd class or as an alternative to your normal instructional pole class.

Each term runs over a period of 8 weeks.
How many classes do I attend each week?
You'll be attending 1 structured pole class each week, and you're welcome to drop in for our Happy Hour Sessions as well.

What is the cost?
Instructional pole classes are 60 minutes in duration. Work out classes are generally 45 minutes in duration.
Our 8 weeks terms are $225, or if you pre-pay at the time of booking, $215.
will take you back to the glamorous era of the 40’s & 50’s. Learn the shimmy and shake, hip and chest isolations, undulations, glove peeling and Burlesque struts all while building a cheeky Burlesque routine. Before you know it you’ll be taking home extra self confidence and a “burlesque bombshell” attitude! And don’t worry girls, this fun & flirty class is gonna give you a workout!
